One bundle of vinca minor consists of 50 bare root plants. 20 bundles include 1000 bare root plants. Most of the time, it will requre a minimum of five bundles for use around the home. Nursery orders usually start with a minimum of 20 bundles. One bundle is $7.00 ,PLUS SHIPPING. Twenty bundles is $140.00, PLUS SHIPPING..We ship periwinkle in bundles of fifty  bare root  plants with 3to6 leads each. Plus we give you twenty five extra plants to cover any  plants that do not survive the trip. So, if you order 20 bundles (1000 plants) you will recieve 1025 plants. If you order one bundle (50 plants) you will recieve 75 plants.

The traditional name for this beautiful plant is Vinca Minor, it is also known as Periwinkle, Creeping Myrtle and Dwarf Periwinkle. It is a short ,evergreen herbacious perennial  ground cover or a trailing vine.It will adapt  and survive easy in average well drained soil that is dry to medium wet, in full sun or partial shade, it will also grow in full shade. But, vinca Minor prefers well drained loamy soil in partial shade with regular watering. It grows in zones 3 through 8.

Periwinkle spreads quickly, forming a dense mat. It's mature height is between three and six inches tall and three inches in diameter for each individual plant, with spacing between four and eight inches. Growth will resemble a trailing mat, prostate mat or mounding mat. Vinca Minor has a medium growth rate, deer tend to avoid it and it tolerates infrequent foot traffic.It blooms from late March and April through the summer and fall with a whitish ,one half to three quaters of an inch, blue-violet flowers in early spring (this is rare for ever green ground cover), and sparse flowers in the summer and fall.The leaves are a lustrous dark glossy green about one half inch to one and a half inches in size  with a prominent mid vein.

Vinca is delightfully low maintenance and acts as a versatile ground cover.It provides cover for bulb beds and can cover large areas by planting them twelve to eighteen inches apart.It is also good for stabilizing soils and controlling erosion on shady slopes or banks. It is also great for covering soil under trees and shrubs and is also great for window boxes.
